Our Producers
The success of the Celestial Samplings and Stories experience depends fundamentally on the quality and authenticity of the artisanal products tasted by participants. We have established strategic partnerships with local producers from the Góis and Arganil region, representing the best of Central Portugal's culinary tradition. These producers are not just suppliers, but the protagonists of the experience, whose stories, techniques, and products embody the cultural and territorial identity we celebrate.

Quinta do Ribeiro / Sabores de Arganil
An agricultural estate in Sarzedo acquired in 1980 by the Gonçalves family. They produce authentic sheep and goat cheeses using traditional methods inherited from their grandmother, utilizing natural rennet, manual molding, and stone cellar maturation without industrial standardization.

Talho Sapatinho
Based in Arganil in the heart of Serra do Açor, this family-owned butcher shop combines 15 years of modern production with generations of experience in traditional sausages and cured meats. They balance food safety with century-old recipes to ensure authentic regional traditions are kept alive.

Pastelaria Casa do Pão
Founded in 2001 in Serpins, this bakery is a symbol of tradition and quality in the region. They maintain an unwavering dedication to authentic production methods, crafting fresh bread and traditional sweets using carefully selected ingredients for a true homemade taste.

Quinta da Aldeia Nova
Locally known as "A Quinta" since the 1920s, this estate in the Dão wine region rebuilt after the 2017 forest fires. They cultivate 2.5 hectares of vineyards on challenging, stone-rich terroir that concentrates flavors to produce exceptional Atlantic-influenced local wines.

Doce Serra
Born in Colmeal in 2020 out of a passion for beekeeping that began in the 1990s. They produce pure, 100% Portuguese artisanal honey, valuing traditional practices and sustainable beekeeping that reflects the rich biodiversity of the Serra do Açor mountains.

A Horta do Penedo
Born from a passion for agriculture, A Horta do Penedo began with strawberry and raspberry production and has since expanded into a wide diversity of crops. With investment in small greenhouses, Isabel focuses on differentiated, high-quality products: aromatic herbs (mustard, coriander, thyme, chives, fennel, celery), uncommon vegetables (chard, kale, romanesco cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, parsnip, colorful radishes, colored courgettes), a wide variety of tomatoes, mushrooms grown on straw bales, and flowers. Present at markets and fairs since 2014, A Horta do Penedo also sells fruit, preferably from Portuguese production. It is a sole proprietorship.
